April 17^th, Jeff Zabudsky, the president of Sheridan College Institute of Technology, Bryan Dawson, chairman of the board, and Victor Oh, board member and Canadian senator pay SBS a visit. Zhu Guohong, the president of SBS, warmly welcomes the foreign guests and signs the Memo of Cooperation with them. Yang Bing, Director of Foreign Affairs Office, chairs this meeting. Zhu Weijuan, Deputy Dean of Faculty of International Studies, and relevant person in charge attend it.

In the beginning of the meeting, Yang Bing introduces the experiences and achievements which SBS has made about students exchange and international cooperation in these years. Then, both sides have a deeply discussion about the first round cooperation and finally reach a consensus. On behalf of SBS, Zhu Guohong expresses welcome to the Canadian friends. As an application-oriented university subordinated to Shanghai Educational Committee, SBS would apply the educational globalization action platform of the 12^th Five-Year Plan. President Zhu wishes the cooperation a nice beginning and open future. Bryan Dawson appreciates the negotiation of running a joint school and students exchange by both sides and hopes the cooperation could go further in the future.
