An activity named “Taste Zongzi & Enjoy Dragon Boat Festival” was held by the Faculty of International Studies and the Faculty of Foreign Languages. 32 students from Mahasarakham University of Thailand and their Chinese fellows celebrated the tradition festival together. Yu Yiwen, a representative from the Department of International Students, also attended the activity.

The happy event started with a beautiful Thailand song from the overseas students, followed by the introduction of festival food “Zongzi” by Yu Yiwen. All the students enjoyed the special taste of this traditional food. During the celebration, Wu Peiming, teacher from the Faculty of East Money and Management also showed the skills of Chinese calligraphy. In addition to that, with the help from Chinese fellows, all the Thailand students had tried to make a Chinese Knot by themselves.

This activity was a part of the program developed for these Thailand students, which have stayed with our university for three month. They will be back to Thailand on June 1^st. All of them showed great interests in studying Shanghai and making friends with Chinese students. They hope that they would come back some day in the near future.
