The 10th sports meeting of SBS is held solemnly at the track and field stadium in Fengpu Campus on November 2nd. Lou Wengao, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary of SBS, Zhong Youwei, Deputy President, and all the chief staffs of every department attend this meeting. Liu Jianmin, Dean of Arts and Law Faculty, hosts this opening ceremony.

Lead by the national flag and the square array of SBS flags, the phalanx formations of secondary schools and faculties stream in the stadium. Every phalanx seems full of spirit and energy, even its raining out there. When Faculty of Eastmoney Media & Management and Faculty of Management pass by the main stage, they release balloons to imply that their dreams and hopes are going sky high. The hot dance of Faculty of Foreign Language gains rounds of applauses. The popular dancing performance of Guo Quan Campus, which called “Little Apple”, gets the crowd climax. After the March-In, Deputy President Zhong Youwei gives an inaugural address and Deputy Party Secretary, Lou Wengao, proclaims open the sports meeting. Then, the athletes and judges take vows.

Following the demonstration of the 9th Edition People’s Radio Calisthenics by all the phalanxes, the communities bring their best performances to the crowd, such as the Dragon Dance, Street Dance and Karate. The games are officially started at 9:30AM.

This sports meeting has 22 competition events, 11 for male, 10 for female and 1 mixed. 783 players join in the meeting. The whole sports meeting is closed by November 3rd.
