Recently, Lou Wengao, Deputy Party Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary of SBS, led a delegation to West Virginia University (WVU) for the opening ceremony of the first SBS teachers’ overseas training base. Doctor David Stewart, Deputy President of WVU, and Doctor Jose Sartarelli, CEO of Global Affairs and Dean of Business School, met the SBS delegation in turns. The management staffs of WVU extend their warm welcome and Lou Wengao expresses his sincere gratitude. Lou Wengao points out that establishing a teachers’ overseas training base was a significant move for SBS to promote the teachers’ professional capabilities. SBS chooses WVU to be the first staffs’ training base after multiple comparisons and researching. He expects the both sides will run the base well together in the future.

After the ceremony, Lou Wengao meets with the SBS teachers and students, who are staying in WVU for exchange studies. He listens carefully to their experiences of living and studying in USA, and hopes they could get closer to American society, introduce more about Chinese culture, and set up a nice image for SBS. Secretary Lou Wengao also meets with some experts and professors of WVU Business School during the visit.
