On Dec. 9th, Vice President William Brustein of West Virginia University, Dean Javier Reyes of WVU College of Business and Economics, and Director Victor Chow and Vice Director Michael Zhao of Center for Chinese Business visited SBS, and signed 2+2 Dual Degree Program with SBS. Vice President He Ying of SBS, Vice Director Yang Bing of International Communication Office, Director Xiong Ping’an of Academics Affairs Office, and Dean Li Zhigang of College of Economics and Finance attended the ceremony.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Michael Zhao, Vice Director of WVU Center for Chinese Business introduced the 2+2 Dual Degree Program to students and their parents. Vice President He Ying extended her warmly welcome to the visit of WVU delegation, and introduced the basics, features, and researches of SBS. Later, Vice President William Brustein and Dean Javier Reyes of College of Business and Economics delivered speeches respectively on the signature of 2+2 Dual Degree Program. Then, two parties officially signed the 2+2 Dual Degree Program, exchanged souvenirs and took photos.

Since the cooperation between SBS and WVU in 2014, the faculty training and student exchange programs between two universities have received widespread welcome and praise from students and faculties of both institutions. The 2+2 Dual Degree Program will further enhance the cooperation and friendship of two universities.

In the end, Vice President He Ying expressed her sincere thanks to the 4-person delegation of WVU. The signing ceremony is an important part of the cooperation between SBS and WVU. SBS will actively support the program to fit the need of internationalization process of SBS.
