On January 5th, Mr. Chen Jinming, Dean of Faculty of Auckland UUNZ, University of Southern Queensland, visits SBS. Ms. He Ying, Deputy President of SBS, Mr. Fang Youlin, Director of Planning Department, Ms. Yang Bing, Deputy Director of International Affairs Department, and Ms. Zhu Weijuan, Deputy Dean of Faculty of International Studies, warmly receive the guest in conference room, floor 16, Xuhui campus.
It’s been the second time for Dean Chen Jinming to visit SBS since September 2015. Ms He Ying firstly welcomes the guests and conveys her New Year’s Greetings and briefs the circumstance of SBS’s international Affairs. Dean Chen expresses appreciations for the warm reception. He thinks that the Internationalization of Chinese Education has been in a weak position for a long while. However, running school abroad, which SBS has already had the conditions and advantages on, is a must way to break it through. Ms. He Ying says that Internationalization is a major goal and orientation of SBS’s Comprehensive Reform of Education, which makes running school abroad a great attempt for SBS. It will deeply promote the progress of Internationalization. During the meeting, the both sides have an in-depth discussion on the detail, the program, and the possible problem of running school abroad.

To run a school abroad, SBS is planning to establish a branch with Faculty UUNZ in New Zealand.
Faculty of Auckland UUNZ, University of Southern Queensland, was found in 2002, which is one of the fastest developing schools in New Zealand and also is one of the two direct subordinate campuses of Southern Queensland University on the earth. The curriculum, syllabus, resources, and examinational standard are all met the criterion of University of Southern Queensland. UNNZ is an institution of higher education, which is dedicated in offering comprehensive and high quality education and developing itself via creating connection with other schools in the world.
