On May 19th, the opening ceremony of the 10th SBS Foreign Language Festival is held in conference room 146, at Fengpu campus. Zhang Yushuang, Dean of Faculty of Foreign Language, Mr. Jin Yong, teacher of Korean Language, Ms. Li Yan, and Mr. Meng Wei attend this ceremony. The festival is hosted by Faculty of Foreign Language.
Dean Zhang Yushuang addresses the opening ceremony. On behalf of the faculty, she extends a warm welcome to all the guests, jury members, and the students. She emphasizes that this event doesn’t only offer a language training platform, but also create a fine atmosphere to learn the foreign culture and find the charm of language. She hopes the teachers and students could learn from each other and enrich the campus culture.

After the opening ceremony, the final Karaoke competition of Foreign Songs starts. Eventually, Liu Yiming, Faculty of Foreign Language, wins the championship. The whole Foreign Language Festival will last one and a half month. It contains the Karaoke Competition, CV Design Competition, contest of Letters in Foreign Language, Exhibition of Foreign Cities, and Best Elegant Demeanor Competition.
