On Nov 27th, Vice President He Ying, accompanied with Deputy Director Yang Bing from Division of International Communication, Vice Party Secretary Yan Yuping and Vice Dean Zhang Yifei from School of Hotel Management, received Mr. Simon Gillard, Asia and Greater China Region Marketing Manager of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management. The wo parties had discussion on cooperative school operation and academic communication.
Based on the fact that the management team of the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management had major change recently, Vice President He Ying and relevant personnel first reviewed the past cooperation, the two parties are both satisfied with the current faculty training and student exchange program.
The two parties then had in-depth discussion on the construction plan of SBS Dubai College of Hospitality Management. By now, SBS has reached initial intents for cooperation with Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel Shanghai. Simon Gillard indicated that Himalayas Hotel can serve as the cooperative training facility for Dubai College of Hospitality Management, and offer faculty, site and other resources for the internship teaching, and two parties will further implement the contents and model of the cooperation.

Based on the memorandum of understanding that has been signed in advance, SBS will fully discuss the oversea internship program and the master program offered by the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, so as to find out a plan that is better for the development of students as well as the mutual development of the bilateral cooperation.
