On the morning of April 6^th, Guo Yaqin, CEO of GCC Chinese Division visited SBS Xuhui campus for communication. SBS Vice President He Ying extended warm welcome to the visit of Guo delegation, and introduced to her the school development, international communication, innovative and entrepreneurship education, etc. The two parties wished to reach consensus based on mutual understanding and friendly negotiation, and include SBS into the “Double Hundred Plan” of Sino-U.S. education of applied technology.

On April 7^th, Liu Huiqi, Deputy Director of SBS Division of Planning escorted the Guo delegation to visit SBS Experiment & Training Center and National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Modern Logistics. Guo fully recognized the capability of SBS’ National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center. She indicated that GCC is willing to cooperate with SBS for the promotion of “Double Hundred Plan” of Sino-U.S. education of applied technology.

The “Double Hundred Plan” of Sino-U.S. education of applied technology was determined on June 7^th, 2016, during the 7^th round of high-level Sino-U.S. humanitarian high-level communication. On the same day, two governments witnessed the signing of the Plan. This plan is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education School Planning and Construction Development Center and GCC, which will realize the in-depth cooperation between 100 pairs of universities in China and in the U.S., and in-depth integration between 100 pairs of universities and companies, and thus jointly cultivate high-level applied technology talents meeting international standards and with global vision.
