On Apr 27th, a delegation led by SBS Vice President He Ying visited Xiamen University, and was warmly received by Zhang Wenyu, Office Director of Xiamen University Malaysia, and other staff.
President He expressed her appreciation to Xiamen University for its warm reception, introduced the details of SBS oversea school project, and explained her goal for this visit. Zhang Wenyu, Office Director of Xiamen University Malaysia, introduced the situation of Xiamen University Malaysia from the connections between Malaysia and Xiamen University, aids received from various parties at the construction of the school, courses installed, and the premium education resources of Xiamen University. President He Ying exchanged ideas with her counterpart of Xiamen University on the capital arrangement for oversea school, construction of faculty team, sources of students, feasibility, and certification of degrees. Staff from Department of Development and Planning and College of International Communication accompanied with President He during the visit.
The visit helps SBS to learn about the successful experience of Xiamen University Malaysia in the application of school establishment, methods of investment, and feasibility design, which has positive meaning for SBS in its further oversea school projects as a reference.
