On Feb. 27th, SBS Vice President He Ying escorted the delegation of Dr. Lajos Olah, Hungarian National Assembly and Chairman of the Great Wall Hungarian-Chinese Friendship Association. The two parties had a discussion on the progress, types, and conditions of Chinese-operated schools in Hungary, as well as the cultural communication and cooperation between the two countries. Deputy Director Yang Bing of Division of International Communication accompanied the delegation.
Vice President He Ying introduced to Dr. Lajos Olah the basic information of SBS. She pointed out that either from the perspective of promoting the development of China and Hungary, or from the perspective of encouraging cultural communication between China and Hungary, the founding of Chinese-Hungarian Bilingual University in Hungary by China is a milestone event. SBS, based on its attitude and enthusiasm to actively promote and support the Chinese school in Hungary, wishes to take that as a starting point and start cooperation in various fields, including joint school, research, faculty and student exchange, etc.
Dr. Lajos Olah indicated that Hungary and China share long-time friendship, and Hungary pays attention to the communication and development with China. He wishes that through his communication with Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai Business School, a more solid base for the operation of Chinese-Hungarian Bilingual University can be built. In the meantime, he also wishes to build long-time friendship with SBS and start cooperation in specific projects.
