In the morning of 24 April, He Ying, vice president, warmly received Mariel Goble, head of International Division of Northern Arizona University of America, Jennifer Hu, head of Shanghai Office of Northern Arizona University, Emma Xie, project leader of Shanghai Office of Northern Arizona University. Both sides held conference on the exchanges and cooperation between the teachers and students of the two universities. Dai Ying, principal of International Education College, Xiong Ping’an, director of office of academic affairs, Jiang Hong, dean of School of Hotel Management and Zhang Yifei, associate dean of School of Hotel Management accompanied and received them.

During the talks, vice president He introduced school-running characteristics and professional advantage of Shanghai Business School to the guests, and delivered speeches on the potentials of cooperation. Mariel Goble, head of International Office of Northern Arizona University, made brief introduction of the setup of college and the advantages of different majors of the college, and he said that their students love China and they like learning Chinese, and hoped that both sides should carry out various exchanges and cooperation. Both sides discussed about the international students studying in China, the programs of exchange students without charging tuition fees from the students from the opposite university and the program of 2+2 double bachelor's degree. Subsequently, School of Hotel Management of both sides would gradually implement programs such as 2+2 double degrees and so on.

Northern Arizona University, established in 1899, was a comprehensive public university and certified by Ministry of Education of P.R.C. The university was located in Flagstaff, Arizona, a famous and beautiful city in the southwestern United States. With pleasant climate, the city was a university town ranked 8^th in US and has the cleanest air in America. Teacher-student ratio: 1:27, and the number of students is about 30000, in which more than 1200 are international students. School of Hotel Management ranked 7^th in America. Through the conference, the cooperation between Northern Arizona University and our school was initiated, which accelerated the course of internationalization of our school.
