On March 12^th, Lisa, director of the Global Education Exchange School of the College of Extended Education and Communication at the California State Polytechnic University (Pomona) and her delegation visited our school to further discuss the cooperation between the two universities. The Secretary of the Party Committee of our university, Li Xin, extended a warm reception for them, accompanied by Jiang Hong, Dean of the School of Hotel Management, and Yang Bing, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Department.

   The University Party Secretary, Li Xin first welcomed Lisa, director of the International Exchange Division of California Polytechnic University, and her delegation to visit our school followed by an introduction of the basic information, characteristic majors and researches of the university. After that, Lisa, director of the International Exchange Division of California Polytechnic University, made an introduction of Cal Poly Panoma.

The Dean of the School of Hotel Management of our school introduced the features and practices of the hotel management major of our school. The two sides conducted in-depth communication and discussion on such topics as faculty communication, students exchange, and scientific research cooperation and exchange. A preliminary agreement was reached on specific cooperation such as faculty training, resource sharing, and platform building. Strong consensus has also been reached in the formation of a long-term cooperation mechanism between the two universities.

At the meeting, the two sides made new discussions and deployment regarding the development and exploration of the project. Both have stated that they will further deepen the cooperation and friendship between the two schools.
