Recently, He Ying, vice-president, received a delegation from West Virginia University, which was led by Dr.William Brustein, vice-president, in Xuhui Campus, and both sides talked details of 2+2 double degree program of international cooperation. Li Zhigang, executive associate dean of School of Finance and Economics, Zhu Weijuan, general party branch cecretary, Zhang Rongjia, director of Department of Business Economics of School of Business Economics and Zhang Yonghong, director of Admissions Office as well as Office of International Exchange and Cooperation accompanied and received them.

He Ying extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by vice-president of West Virginia University and pointed out that the main purpose of the meeting is to talk details of 2+2 Program and 2+2+1 program, that is, how to transfer students to master's program after completion of 2+2 program smoothly? Then, presidents of both sides introduced their respective team members and started the Work Sessions.
Li Zhigang, executive associate dean of School of Finance introduced the operations of 2+2 program so far, including works designed to improve students’ English proficiency, such as setting training courses of English language competence etc. Currently, financing profession of School of Finance had matched the courses of 2+2 program, and the course conversions for the majors of fiscal management and accounting required further discussion. Zhang Rongjia, director of Department of Business Economics of School of Business Economics said that, the school would the explore the 2+2 project cooperation with West Virginia University by borrowing the pattern of School of Finance.
On 23 June, delegation of West Virginia University and School of Finance intended to provide one-to-one question answering for students and parents who would leave China for America pursing 2+2 degree. Substantive progress had been made in cooperation and implementation of 2+2 program by both sides through the conference.
