Recently, the delegation led by Director Wang Chenguang of Shanghai Center of Silk Road Business School (SRBS), visited our school, and Lou Wengao, Deputy Secretary of CPC of our school, received the guests. The staff of Dept. of International Cooperation and Exchange attended the meeting.

Lou Wengao extended a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of the school, and he gave brief introduction about the school, the training of officers from countries along the Belt and Road, the construction of post-doctoral moving station, and the inter-school cooperation with European countries. He wished that both parties strengthen communications in future to have better understanding of each other and promote cooperation. Director Wang expressed recognition for our school-running characteristics and development, and he praised Shanghai Business School for its diversified educational ideas, and he looked forward to establish cooperative relationship with our school in aspects of faculty and enterprise training as well as student exchange etc.

Later, Director Wang Chenguang briefly introduced SRBS, and he pointed out that, they provided “industry-university-institute” education innovation platform and cross-border education network to China and countries along the Belt and Road by responding to the “The Belt and Road Initiative”, and their primary objectives are to build SRBS innovative education project and network in major countries and major cities along the Belt and Road by working with local governments, colleges and universities, enterprises and social organizations. Their partner institutions include CentraleSupélec, ESSEC Business School, ESCP Europe, Peking University and Renmin University of China and so on. In addition, Silk Road Business School, SRBS has established an incubation base located in Nanqiao Park, Fengxian District, Shanghai, so as to promote the cooperation between enterprises of Fengxian District and Fengxian District under the framework of The Belt and Road Initiative. Director Wang Chenguang wished to strengthen ties to our school and have exchanges and cooperation with our school in multiple domains.

SRBS is co-sponsored by Department of International Cooperation of National Development and Reform Commission and Institut des Etudes d'Administration et de Management (IEAM), and through interactive development of four major sectors of education, research, think tank and forum and by responding to the Belt and Road Initiative, it is designed to provide talents specialized in cross-cultural management, cross-border education cooperation, Short-term overseas training, strategic research and difficult project tackling, think tank consultation, resources integration and project docking to China and countries along the Silk Road;by combining the disciplines of commercial management with digital innovation, financial technology, artificial intelligence, green and healthy, cultural ecology etc. under the cross-cultural background, SRBS provided academic and non-academic educational programs for people with different educational backgrounds and high-end short-term management training programs. It aimed to train and accumulate high-level international talents for the implementation and progression of The Belt and Road Initiative.
