Lately, College of Hotel Management successfully held enterprise career talk and employment interview in the theme of integration of production and education. Senior executives from more than 30 internationally renowned hotels and consultation groups such as Marriott, intercontinental, Accor, Disney, Peninsula, Shangri-La, Debenhams Thouard Zadelhoff, ABInbev, iSpa, Four Seasons and Andaz Shanghai etc. participated in the activity. 

Scene of Informal Meeting

In the afternoon of the day, the College held Informal Meeting between University and Enterprise of College of Hotel Management in the theme of Integration of Production and Education. Jiang Hong, Dean, Hu Weihua, General Party Branch Secretary, Zhang Yifei, Associate Dean, Huang Huan, Deputy General Party Branch Secretary, Zhao Lili, Head of College of Hotel Management and Qiu Yishu, Principal of Hotel Management Internship Base attended the meeting and delivered speech. In the meeting, Dean Jiang Hong delivered a welcoming address to the senior executives from the enterprises and proposed key working ideas for the integration of production and education in the futures; Associate Dean Zhang Yifei generalized and pointed out the highlights and disadvantages of university-enterprise cooperation of College of Hotel Management; Huang Huan, Deputy General Party Branch Secretary, introduced the students’ current employment status; teachers from College of Hotel Management made detailed communication with the industry experts as to the internship.

After the meeting, persons in charge of enterprise made detailed introduction of their brand culture, position characteristics, career planning and management trainee etc. to the students of Year 2016 from College of Hotel Management, and they provided internship positions such as general manager assistant, administrative director, product planning, financial specialist, HR assistant, intern student of the finance department and so on. The students were present at the meeting in formal clothes, and they listened carefully. When the meeting ended, the senior executives from more than 30 enterprises conducted employment interview. 

With the objective of training international talents, College of Hotel Management is dedicated to the cultivation of senior management personnel for the modern service industry, and it follows international development tendency and keep abreast of industrial development, has a deep understanding of industrial development needs and actually practices connotation construction of university-enterprise cooperation. Through these activities for integration of production and education, the higher-grade students from College of Hotel Management could understand the cultures and employment needs more intuitively and dynamically and lay a solid basis for their internship and employment.
