At 9:30, October 24, 2019, Donato Medici, Executive Director of Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di MILANO, Serena Sacchi, Manager of Department of International Cooperation and Professor Qian Xin, Project Leader, visited SBS, and Chen Jianfeng, Vice-president of SBS received them. Yang Bing, Deputy Director of Office of International Exchange, Peng Cainian, Dean of School of Arts, Chu Yanjie, Associate Dean of School of Arts, Cheng Yanping and Wu Qiang, Heads of Department, Li Bei, Specialized Course Teacher and Zhao Yuping, Student Counselor, accompanied and received them.

Chen Jianfeng, Vice-president, received the guests in Conference Room 1502, Xuhui Campus, and held conference. Vice-president Chen Jianfeng welcomed the delegation led by Donato Medici, Executive Director of Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di MILANO. He introduced school history, profile and major setup and wished that both parties further strengthened the cooperation foundation and explore more possibilities of cooperation. Peng, Dean of School of Arts, introduced school profile, major setup and internationalization of School of Arts, and he hoped that both parties strengthen exchange and cooperation between teachers of two sides on the basis of previous students’ project cooperation.

Donato Medici, Executive Director of Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di MILANO said that, he cherished the cooperation with our school over the years and he also generalized the efforts that both parties have made in the cooperative project. He believed that, there was a great cooperative potential of two institutes in the common domains that they specialized in. Moreover, combined with his years of experience in intercollegiate cooperation, he illustrated all kinds of possible cooperation modes between two institutes and hoped that there would be a better and greater prospect for the cooperation between both parties.

Vice-president Chen Jianfeng said that, both sides can implement a variety of cooperation and propose ideas in terms of Student-Teacher Workshop, joint exhibition of students and teachers’ works, graduation design exhibition and collection of works and so on.

To further deepen the cooperation, the representatives of two institutes also discussed over the cooperative project. In the conference, detailed discussions were made over the cooperative projects such as students’ exchange and teachers’ exchange etc. and broad consensus had been reached.
