On February 21, the International Education College and MOFCOM Training  Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) held the first  working meeting of the teaching and administrative staff in the new  semester at Conference Room 1503 of Xuhui Campus. Executive Vice Dean Chen Wei, Vice Dean Dai Ying and the staff attended the meeting presided over by Dean Chen Wei.

During the meeting, Dean Chen conveyed the spirit of the SBS Spring  Meeting of Middle-Level Cadre to the staff. It is the year to implement  the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and to conduct the mid-term inspection of SBS 14th Five-Year  Plan. Focusing on the main work points of SBS this year and based on  the development facts of the College, Dean Chen deployed the key College  work this year as follows. First, do a good job of domestic and  international training, optimize online training, consolidate offline  practice and investigation resources, and improve the level of  management and services for training participants. Second, focus on the  national strategy, follow the updates of the fellow participants after  the training, and establish a long-term communication mechanism. Third,  strengthen the construction of international curriculum resources,  improve the public curriculum system for foreign aid and tell the  Chinese story. Fourth, focus on the development plan of SBS, actively  build the ideological education system for international students and  effectively lead them to establish correct values. Fifth, build the  support service system for international students and enhance the  management. Sixth, innovate the enrollment work, improve the level of  school operation and enrich the student source channels. Seventh, deepen  the connotation of school operation for international students and  improve the quality. Eighth, broaden the international exchange and  cooperation and build the global university network. Ninth, optimize the  operation mechanism of the college and improve the performance  assessment and distribution. Tenth, strengthen the personnel team and  classify the personnel management. Finally, Dean Chen asked all faculty  members to insist on pragmatism, strengthen innovation, dare to take  charge and act courageously.

The new semester comes with new goals in a new journey! This meeting  laid a solid foundation for the orderly progress by planning the College  development. All  staff will take this meeting as a call, adhere to  their duties, cooperate fully, and enhance social service efforts and  levels of SBS, writing a new chapter for the development of SBS  international education.
