On May 25, 2019, international students of Shanghai Business School went to Shanghai University of Sport participating The Third Tai Chi Chuan Competition for International Students in Shanghai. More than 200 international students and Tai Chi amateurs in Shanghai gathered in Shanghai Gymnasium for the cultural competition. International students of Shanghai Business School won the third prize as a group.

In the opening ceremony, students of Shanghai University of Sport performed Tai Chi Chuan, martial arts and fancy Tai Chi Chuan, and their performances were warm-ups for Tai Chi competition. The atmosphere of cheerfulness was everywhere in the venue. After the leaders of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association announced the start of the game, the group Tai Chi Chuan was officially started. The event contains individual competition and group competitions, and the styles include 24-form, 42-form, 48-form, 88-form Tai Chi Chuan and 32-form and 42-form Tai Chi Sword. The international students from different colleges and universities exerted all their energies to give excellent performance and display their sportsmanship.

Tai Chi Chuan team of Shanghai Business School played fancy Tai Chi Chuan in neat formations and gave an excellent performance with the exquisite and pleasant music. The elements contained by Tai Chi Chuan won lasting thunderous applause from the audience. Finally, they scored 8.37 and won the Third Prize.

Tai Chi Chuan is a cultural treasure of Chinese nation, and it displays national spirits of constant struggling and aggressiveness. The Third Tai Chi Chuan Competition for International Students in Shanghai not only promoted the cultural inheritance and development of Tai Chi Chuan, but also facilitated the international Tai Chi Chuan exchanges, and the international students in Shanghai were able to actually understand Chinese Culture.
